Backstreet Girls' Petter Baarli's first band:
Slips did a remarkable comeback this year, 27 years since
their last gig. The comeback resulted in an album, released
on
Hit Me! Records.
Christmas gigs: BSG will do three christmas shows. In Sandnes,
Horten and Rjukan. More info in the gigs-section.
Last weekend Backstreet played at "Den Blå Grotte" in
Fredrikstad, alongside the legendary The Yobs ( with Casino
Steel, Hones John Plain and Robbie Rushton), for a concert

Petter Baarli's sideproject: "The
Last Rock 'N' Roll Band" (Honest John Plain, Casino Steel,
Mat Sargent, Robbie Rushton and Petter Baarli) will release
their first album on november 19th. The official album Launch
Party will be held at
www.elmstreet.no, Oslo on Friday 14 December 2007 (with Dan
Thunderbird from Backstreet Girls on bass and Diesel Dahl from
TNT on
drums). There will also be a full set from
Trashcan Darlings.

The gig at Blind Pig is moved to Muddy Waters.
In a few weeks BSG's next album will be released. The
album will be mixed and mastered early in august. One of the
tracks: "Hell Will Pay" is now uploaded "live" from Årnes at
http://backstreetgirls.wordpress.com
This
page is ment too be a site with news, rumours +++ from the
forthcoming album, where the fans can shout out their opinion
about the great album. The

After the releaseparty in Oslo, the guys will do some gigs in other
districts of Norway. Bergen, Bjugn and Storås.
September 15th is it opening of Rauma Kulturhus. Backstreet
Girls, Raga Rockers and Valentourettes will make sure it will be
a grand opening!
